I purchased Coda some time ago and have had some frustration working with it. Basically, the program hangs for quite a while when loading the syntax highlights which happens every time I open a file. This is especially annoying when opening a larger .css or .php file.
Does this problem exist in Espresso as well?
Thanks!

All I know is that Espresso is full of bugs. So, what do you prefer...hangs or crashes?
Espresso was clearly rushed out the door for MacHeist 3.

I have not used Coda, but have used Espresso for a few things here and there. For me, Espresso has been smooth, but then again, I have not used it that much (maybe a couple php scripts, and 1 html page). I have heard a lot of people mention bugs in the application, but I have not run into any during my usage.
Download the trial and see how you like it.
