bought the whole whizbang for $8 million. I dunno if this means that the Napster program will become available again...

Even if it's just indie artists and recordings you can't buy, I'm fine. I used Napster to get concert recordings of Rockapella, which are never released except in their CD "IN Concert."

Bertelsmann has put a lot of money into the little company, $85 million plus the new aquistion, makes $93 million.

There must be a plan here. It would be cheaper to litigate and put them out of business, so there's no point to just buying them to silence them.
Maybe we'll see music-sharing WITHOUT FRIGGIN' LIMWIIRE again!
