OSX updater problem

Trying to update 10.1 to 10.1.5 - I downloaded both the updater and the upgrade files. But I can't select the HD icon (it remains dimmed) during the Updater launching process. ????

Do you have enough diskspace for the update? Also, which update did you download? To update from 10.1 to 10.1.5, you need the updates in between. There are 2 updates available for download, one with only 10.1.5 and one with 10.1.5 and the other required updates. Maybe you didn't download the correct one.

Yeah, there's a combo updater available, it's called MacOSXUpdateCombo.10.1.5.dmg. That will update any version of 10.1 to 10.1.5. it's available on Apple's software downloads page, or you can try Versiontracker.
