I posted this in the OS X forum, there was a suggestion that I post here. Does anyone know when Palm is going to release their desktop software for OS X? Does anyone have any info. A beta perhaps? What do you KNOW? Not rumors. OK, maybe some rumor would be nice. Thanks.

I just got my vistor today for my birthday, and it would be *really* nice to have the OS X Palm Desktop software. Does anyone have a beta version?

everytime i think about this i get angry. OSX has been out for almost a year and nothing from palm. here we are almost 1 year in and palm's collective thumbs are stuffed up their collective rectums. please, apple, here's an idea for another iapp.

iorganize: calendar creation, customization and printing, notes, reminders, custom clocks and PDA / ipod syncing.

yeah, baby.

Some one put up a mirror site on his Mac.com home page HERE.
I downloaded it from this site and it works like a charm! My average download speed was 85 KB/sec.

Trying to Sync with a Keyspan Serial to USB adapter. Downloaded the newest driver. Also using a USB hub. I tried a direct connection to my iMac but....won't sync. Anyone else have this problem, if you have gotten it to work please take a moment and reply wth what you did to make it work. Thank you.

Never mind I fixed it. In case anyone wants to know, in the inital setup screens that the assistant runs you through, choose to have the assistant search your drive for other files and conduits. It will ask you if you wnat to replace your classic data with the OSX data. I said yes. It finished. It synced!!!! You can also do this after by running the Setup Assistant. Have fun. ;)

Do SONY Clies sync with Macs as well? I have a chance to get one for 50$ from a friend... would be a steal and replace my Palm III.

I think some of them do. I've heard (the emphasis is HEARD) that the 320 and 610 do. The 720 will work but not the mp3 capabilities. Sorry I can't be more specific... Also, if you're not against buying software for it, the Missing Sync works for those models that can't work with palm desktop. HTH.

...still waiting for an entourage conduit...
