I’ve Been Searchin’

Dear AppleInsiders

Is the search mechanism broken or is that I just don’t know how to use it? I want to search for recent posts by moki, THX, Eugene, amorph, JLL, hmurchison, and others and I can’t find anyone except by scanning threads for their names.

Yes, the search mecchanism is broken.

We're doing all we can to fix this mess. UBB is on its last breath of life. When we switch to vB, searches and everything else that's broken should work fine.

Just to clarify, "doing everything to fix this" mostly means "doing everything to replace this" and trying not to do anything that might break UBB completely.

It's pretty thoroughly compromised at this point. :(
