Pretty cool.

Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain. In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened, and the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low; Also [when] they shall be afraid of [that which is] high, and fears [shall be] in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets: Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Long enough, I hope, to see my children married, but not long enough, I hope, to see them die.

IIRC the Aztec and Mayan prophecy calendars predict the EndoftheWorld for Summer 2012, so you may be in good company

I'm gonna die before I turn 21, I'm thinking 19 or something. For the hell of it.

In the immortal words or Roger Daltry, "Hope I die before I get 'old'". The trick of course is to define "old"; I see it as I think Roger did -- a state of mind, rather than an age.

It couldn't be short enough for me. I'm sooo ready to go, it's ludicrous. Oh, I guess one last thing I'd like to follow through with is to introduced this girl at work to that TrimSpa treatment- that's about it for a "life purpose" for me at the moment. I was thinking maybe I could get lucky and get slain by some drunk driver over Memorial weekend. Yes, that would be splendid, I think.

Hey now...don't go saying crap like that. It's only funny until you wind up on Six Feet Under. Then it's really funny. Kidding. Seriously, don't wish that on yourself.

Trust me, I had a very trying week as well but all such things shall pass if ya know what I'm sayin.

It wasn't meant to be funny. That's how I really feel. 'course my thinking process is generally facetious in a humorous manner.

I don't have delusions of immortality. I won't feel sorry for myself if I die at without hitting the century mark...long before gravity and disappearing telomeres take its toll.
