I want to buy something... can i post a request at AI?

OK... being a former admin and mod, i should probably know, but many things have changed around here since back in the day (ha ha).

Anyway, i'm looking for an older iMac/Cube part, and wondered if it would be appropriate to post a request in GD.

I remember that there was a decision not to have a Buy/Sell forum due to worries about legal responsibilities, but i also remember seeing a 'FS' thread somewhere recently.


Can someone set me straight here?

go for it.

a buy/sell forum would be predicated on an overflow of for sale threads; which we don't have. In the meantime, GD is fine.
