i noticed that some messages have that 'last edited by ... at ...' under the sig. but, often, when i edit a message it doesn't show up. whats the deal with that? am i special or something?

edit: well, i edited this message before this addition, and i didn't see any message (and will now assume when i hit submit that there'yll be no 'edited by..' message again).

2nd edit: testing paul's suggestion of a five minute timer.

there is a 5 min timer...
you can edit as much as you want until 5 min after the original post
then if you go back an edit it after 5 min is up you will see the message

it's perfect for people like me who cannot seem to see the mistakes they've made until actually posted. (i just don't see them in preview)
on the old A/I i'd have to edit out my last edited notations because there would like five of them.
