G4/400, first AGP-Version - how much worth?

hi!

i could get a a used G4/400, the one from the first series which had the AGP-graphic card slot. how much is this mac worth? the offer i have is DEM 2500.- (about $ 1140.-) plus 16% VAT. is this price fair?

I think a more reasonable price would be about $900. I have one too and just don't think it's worth that much. Unless it has good upgrades (I have an extra 80GB HD, 512MB RAM, Voodoo 2 and an extra Ethernet card and I would sell it for $1200 without hesitation).

the HD is 10 GB. it has 448 MB RAM and a second graphic-card. so i think the price is okay?

To be fair

I saw some places selling the BRAND NEW, never opened 533Mhz Digital Audio G4 for $1800 CDN. This is around $1150 US.

So your price maybe a bit too much....to the US standard.....extra RAM and video card don't worth much when they are second hand...however since you live in Europe it should be okay if you sell it locally......

If I were to sell mine I would likely want about 1300-1400.

So with your specs I would say in the 900 range.

Hey Leonis, that's a good price on the 533 - where did you see it for $1800 CDN? I saw one on eBay go for almost $2000 and thought THAT was a decent price...

That 1800CDN 533G4 is from one of the mac dealer in Richmond.

Also I went to couple of university bookstores and found out the same models are selling at $1700CDN!
