Do you think the Panther night will be like the Jagwire night? I can still go in the store earlier than 8 right? Another question: Do I have to pay tax for the educational discount?

You cant get the edu discount? I know you could get the edu discount with computers. Not with software?

Listen... YES, you CAN get the edu discount for software.

However, can only order it from apples online store, just like hardware.

unfortunately you can't. it's really stupid and the reasoning they give always confuses me.

but in conclusion

hardware = yes
software = only online

Sorry to help this topic drift but I told a friend of mine that he couldn't get his education discount at the store so he called the Buffalo store and was told otherwise. He may have just talked to somebody who was misinformed, but just thought I'd pass it along. Every other case I've ever heard has been as Applenut said though.
