Just wanted to say hi to everyone again. I haven't posted anything here for about a year now, although I peered in occasionally. I'm looking to pick up a 12"PB sometime next week, and thought i'd reaquaint myself now. Thanks to Z.O. for keeping my pic up on the community site, and it's good to be back! =)
PS - Everyone feel free to enlighten me on the advantages and disadvantages of the 12" PB. Thanks to all.

The 12 inch powerbook is a winner, except if you need a big screen

12" PB is an awesome computer, go for it. Portability is amazing. Lightweight, easy to use, decent battery life. Can't really go wrong...unless, like Powerdoc said, you need a bigger screen, but keep in mind that you will sacrifice portability with a larger screen.

I have one, and I really like it a lot. The one negative is that I think the display quality is lacking. I'd really like to see Apple update this with a better quality LCD panel. It seems a little dim overall, and when you're looking at the center of the display in a way that the center looks reasonably good, the edges of the display, a mere few inches away, have a noticeably "off-axis" look. You have to back your face a few feet back from the display to see all of the display well at the same time.
However, I love the extra portability of its smaller size, compared to my old 15" TiBook, and it feels more rugged and solid too.

Thanks for the reviews so far, and keep 'em coming. As for the screen size issue, thats not a problem as I have 2 other PC's at home, and another laptop that has a 17" widescreen that I will use on the road when I need more power and screen real estate. Thanks again.
