just curious. i know there are a few penny-arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com/) readers in here, and i also check in on the pvp player (http://www.pvponline.com/) from time to time. i've also tuned into Elf Only Inn (http://elfonlyinn.keenspace.com/d/20020523.html), but i think the earlier episodes are much better than recent ones, and while not strictly a web comic, Max Cannon's Red Meat (http://www.redmeat.com/) is always a weekly read for me. i used to catch dilbert and fox trot online, but now i subscribe to the daily paper, so that's not really necessary...

any other honorable mentions out there?

I'm fairly keen on the joy of tech (http://www.joyoftech.com/joyoftech/index.html) and Penny-arcade

possibly one of the early ones... e-sheep (http://www.e-sheep.com)

his updates are sparse so i presume its lost its readership...

BOONDOCKS (http://www.boondocks.net/) is a must-read online because unless you live in a big city or have a real liberal paper you'll never see it.
it scares the crackers.

i also read GET FUZZY (http://www.unitedmedia.com/comics/getfuzzy/index.html), and DILBERT (http://www.unitedmedia.com/comics/dilbert/), and DOONESBURY (http://www.doonesbury.com/strip/dailydose/).

i read JOY OF TECH but a month at a time because it's not daily so it's not part of my morning routine.

It may be stupid, but the only online comic I subscribe to is COMIC STRIP (http://www.scarybear.org). You've got to love that megalomaniacal Classic Mac!

Don't forget MacHall (http://www.machall.com/). They don't update regularly, but the artwork is topnotch, and the content is usually pretty good too. Go back a few comics and you can tune into the current Monkey infestation...

Monkeys! (http://www.machall.com/index.php?strip_id=249)
Part 2 (http://www.machall.com/index.php?strip_id=250)
Monkey Gun (http://www.machall.com/index.php?strip_id=252)

some other favourites...

Plan B (http://www.machall.com/index.php?strip_id=195)
Plausible Deniability (http://www.machall.com/index.php?strip_id=165)
