I captured an interview with a MiniDV cam and a lapel pin mic, not that I watch the interview there is this very high pitched sound/humming in the background...

Anyone know how to get rid of this using FCP using audio filters? I'm using FCP 4. Audio isn't my thing..

thanks!

High pitched noises are the hardest to remove. There are audio filters, one of them being "Hum remover", that you can use to help remove the noise. The hardest part is selecting the right frequency.

In fact, that is one thing I really want the next version of FCP to have. A real-time EQ feedback. Maybe 10 separated LED's based on a user definable frequency range. Not just eye candy.:D
