can i do voice recordings

hi all, i was palying around with the voice commands on my power book but then thought can i use the microphone to save voice files, is it possible and where?

Jap, sure - just set your sound input device to your internal microphone (in the sound preferences panel in System Preferences) and try this li'l app:
