How to webcam between mac and pc?

I want to get a new iSight, assuming a new one will be released after WWDC, but my gf still has a PC. How exactly can we webcam together, so that i don't sacrifice FPS or clarity? Thanks.

AOL and iChat AV. Other solutions out there require you to shell out a subscription fee. The bandwith requirements for video chat using iChat AV are huge. While you may not get the same resolution using Windows Messenger or Yahoo Messenger, the bandwith requirements make up for it. Unfortunately those solutions are not available for the Mac.

Specifically, iChat AV 2.1 and AIM 5.5.

Once you get those in place, and make sure there aren't any firewall issues (which can be a pain), it's easy.
