Its a thing , a friend of mine is making, its still a prototype, the real thing will look nicer, but i agree, i dont like it myself, the only possitive thing is that u dont get extra cables or powersuplies on your desk

It looks like in order to attach it, the top handles must be removed from the tower. If so, why not re-attach them at the top of your device? That would better flow with the tower then your silver curved top now. Rather then mimic the handles put the real ones there.

Yeah, not too pretty. Can't be as fast as other setups might be, either, unless of course it uses FireWire gen 2 which Apple doesn't use yet.

It might not be pretty, but it definitely looks useful. I'd buy one if I had a G4 tower and a reason. :)

Then again, I'm not a typical Apple customer. Form should follow function. Apple products are pretty, but I like my computers to sit under the desk and not beg me to pet them. I'd be one of those lamers to put my G4 in an Antec case. :p
