Thank god the media is starting to do their job. Thank god we have a month still to correct 4 years of lies. Thank god we are not blindly hanging onto ALL of Bush's words as truth in this country. Thank god there are a few Canadians among us with the balls to call the liar in chief out on occasion. Here folks download and enjoy. It's good I promise.

You have to download it--at least I had to-- to view it. It's right there folks--Bush lied about Kerry like the thread that popped up a few days ago. In fact, didn't that thread mirror this lie too? Too lazy to check.

Can someone answer this please: "Why do we let Bush get away with these lies?"

Because war is good for ratings. Bush is good for war. 9/11.

EXACTLY!!! Three seconds of commentary, and 30 seconds of the candidates in their own words.... Bush lied and Jennings called him. Others need to do the same. Hopefully they will follow Jennings lead in the furture.

Call me a cynic, but I think people are just a tad jaded to care about a politician lying. Perhaps that's why we haven't heard a lot of hubbub about the prospect. :p

Jaded or not, Bush has been given free ride after free ride while attacking Kerry using lies. It's not whether we expect politicians to lie--we do00but whether we expect them to lie less obviously. Bush told nothing short of a bold faced, out-and-out lie here. He misrepresented Kerry's position and only Jennings had the balls to call him on it.

Great find. I hadn't heard anything about this until I saw this clip.

And kudos to Jennings for letting two clips speak for themselves.

i hate to say this, but "technically" it's not a lie... it's spin. incredible, incredible, warp-factor-9 spin... you usually have to take some pretty potent drugs to get the room spinning that fast...

i have never seen a group so masterful in taking what you say, and infer sentiment that's not there with such targeted contempt. cheney did it too. there's a book out now called "spinsanity," which documents how the republican party is working it.

i am interested to see how these debates pan out, so we can finally see candidate versus candidate, word for word... as long as they don't turn kerry orange with makeup, and remove the word "lockbox" from his vocabulary (see: 2000, gore), he has a fighting chance.

I assume you meant to say "Outside of the Political Outsider forums, I have never seen..."
