He blames 40% of Illinois republicans for voting for Obama. And he refused to congratulate his opponent. Not only is he a sore loser but he even blames the media. Typical sore loser bitter old dill-weed.

He practically dismantled the GOP singlehandedly in Illinois. But you can put the blame squarely on Dennis Hastert's shoulders, who got down on bended knee, begging him to fill the slot, ignoring Republican state leadership and all the candidates who actually participated in the primaries.
Keys is a Looney, (capital L) but Hastert needs to step up and apologize for setting him lose in Illinois, insulting everyones intelligence, and alienating the few good republicans that are left here.

Long-term, this senate race could be the most historically significant event of the election year.

TonTon you don't think there are good republicans?

My smiley was sarcastic. I think there are good Republicans. For instance, I think John McCain is a very good Republican.
But I don't think any Republican who is anti-gay (not for themselves - that's their choice - but for others), anti-choice (ditto to the above parenthetical qualifier), thinks the Iraq war is just, or believes in current Reagan/Bush fiscal policy can possibly be a good person. Sorry. I just don't think so.
