Sounds good. He's the main reason I don't watch CBS news. I much prefer the cheerfulness of Peter Jennings over the sternness of Rather, so I stick to ABC (these are my only two choices here).

Thoughts?

I can't wait for my favorite rock star reporter J.D. Roberts to fill his shoes.

Hope he grows the mullet back for his debut!

Well, the guy is like 72 or something. I think it was time to retire anyway, memo or no memo.

And his career being hurt? Give me a break. He doesn't need a career.
