Here's another take on the supposed 'mastermind' of some of the attacks in Iraq, al-Zarqawi. Does he really exist? What with the disappearance (and reported death) of Osama bin Laden, the architects of the supposed "war on terror" require a new booga booga. Enter the latest hyped-up superstar of evil who's coming to get us, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. Anybody notice that everytime the media comes up with a Zarqawi statement, sighting, report etc. etc. it is always attributed to some mysterious mythical website representing "al qaeda" or some other shadowy group. But since these always unsubstantiated reports never give out the URLs of these apparent "websites", we have no proof that they even exist.
There is $25 million reward on "bin Laden", and a similar amout of money on "Zarqawi" as well. Doesn't anyone find it bizarre that the carrot of such enormous riches (and potential fame) hasn't tempted a single solitary soul to rat on these people? "Bin Laden"s appearances during the last few years have been few and sporadic, and the authenticity of the person featured on the tapes is in severe doubt, most especially that infamous "911 smoking gun" VHS supposedly found by the US army in Jalalabad, Afghanistan a few weeks after the 9-11 attacks, (and apparently before the US army arrived in Jalalabad). The man purported to be OBL on that tape plainly wasn't him....it showed a stocky, righthanded, jewelry wearing, bearded man, instead of a thin, left-handed, bearded man whose faith shuns the wearing of jewelry.
Perhaps these big bad leaders of the "evil groups" that have "justified" the "war on terror" in the public's consciousness do not really exist as such, and have been propagandized and bulled up by this administration to be instantly recognizable showpieces, figureheads-of-evil in a war which is in every aspect, nebulous and bogus. To justify the expenditure of hundreds of billions of dollars, the admin. needs something tangible and concrete in the public awareness. Saddam Hussein's huge arsenal of nerve-gas laden drones doesn't scare people any longer: the run on duct tape and plastic sheeting fell short...Saddam is in jail, his status the booga booga charts faded away like his Republican Guard. If al-Zarqawi fails to meet "scarespectations", or he gets killed, (should he actually exist as such) then a replacement "big-bad-bearded-one-in-a-turban" is no doubt already being prepped by the Pentagon/White House media promo machine.
This administration now has an unassailable track record of fiction, lies, baseless propaganda and doublespeak. The 'war on terror" needs that figurehead. Solution: if there isn't one, then best make one! The Pentagon is pretty darned good at manufacturing fiction.

and to add...this one just came through on CNN (they are one of the worst offenders in the propaganda hailstorm)... they keep reiterating this BS like clockwork. Repetition is the key, and people will believe anything, if they want to that is. The triumph of the irrational (scaremongering and faith-based hearsay) over reason (proof, evidence and logic). Back to the Dark ages, folks.
