Possible Hijacking to be landed in Canada

Said to be brought down in Halofax. Flight intercepted by fighters.

A 340 Airbus. Is being diverted, not shot down as my previous post sounded. That's not what I meant.

They are saying concerns are much less now but still proceeding cautiously.

The flight was and still is broadcasting the hijack code. This has been ongoing for about an hour.

Reporting it may have been an accident, but still transmitting hijack code, they just don't know yet.

Virgin atlantic now saying it was a false alarm.

RCMP is on site, plane has landed. proceeding with caution. They say it look like accident. Following procedure.
