Does anyone know the title of this book?

I remember reading some books a long time ago, 4th or 5th grade perhaps (so this is 15-17 years ago), and I would really like to find them. Does anyone know the title? Here's what little I remember...

- I believe it was a series of books - 5 maybe?
- It took place in England
- It was about a boy (there may have been other kids)
- He somehow had to fight evil.. not sure if he had to go to another dimension to do it though
- He had to gather some medallion type things. They were circles that had a cross through them (not a Christian cross, just divied in quarters) They were made of different materials : stone, lead, fire, water, i think
- The cover of the first book had a man on horseback. The borse was on his back legs, and the boy was on the ground.

That's really all I remember... Does anyone else remember these books?

I read the books, but I don't remember the titles, sorry.

If they are the ones I am thinking of, they involved a lot of Celtic mythology, and the great hunt.

You make fun, but it can be quite tricky to find these things when you don't remember the title.

I am trying to remember the title of a movie that I really liked:

- A beautiful blond woman wakes up in Spain with no memory
- She has all these adventures
- There was a pool
- She gets raped by a taxi driver
- I think that there was a bullfight
- It turns out that she is a ghost
