Is everyone so thin-skinned, or is it merely "oppressed" minorities (like billionaire African-American women celebrities)?
Oprah experienced "one of the most humiliating moments of her life" according to this (http://www.channeloklahoma.com/news/4645541/detail.html) article.
Key facts from the article:
"Oprah showed up at the store after hours wanting to buy a gift. Employees refused to reopen for her."
and...
"it was closed for a public relations event and couldn't reopen"
But, of course...
"Winfrey sees it as a racial incident."

Oprah is going to have to dig real deep to find someone treating her poorly in the last 15 years.

Imo, it is not just 'anti' attitudes which are racist but 'pro' attitudes can be racist also.
Any discrimination, whether 'positive' or 'negative' is racist when used as a basis for judgement on racial or ethnic grounds.
I would say that it is possible that Oprah was reacting in a racist manner (if these are indeed the facts) but apparently that is impossible so it can't be true.

Oprah can spin around twice and shove her collection of Hermes bags up her ass.
It was only humiliating because Oprah's friends saw her shutdown by a store employee. A lowly store employee. How embarrassing, for Oprah, that her piles of cash couldn't place her above someone else this time.
She must feel awful.

From my observations, the French don't have nearly the problem with African/black skin racism that we do in the US. Their race issues generally seem to have more to do with Muslims and, on a few occasions, Jews. This person might have as much against Oprah for being American as being black.

I agree with audiopollutions sentiments...
Too bad her money didn't get her the treatment she feels she deserves with all that money of hers and stuff...

Maybe she'll sell one of the two FLOORS she owns of Chicago's best condo and buy the store, and fire the sorry ass of that employee!
