The band is Johnny Sketch & The Dirty Notes from New Orleans. In less than a year they've become one of my top 5 favorite bands, and they are definitely the best new band I've seen in a long time. These guys are young and have a long and great career ahead of them - see 'em now and you can talk about it when they are famous.

They play a great fusion of funk/rock in the New Orleans Nevilles-Meters-Radiators tradition, plus funky Tower-of-Power-style horns, with modern alternative rock style and sound. It's a fantastic live show.
