google maps in Keynote

hi All,

does anybody know how to get a google map to display in
Keynote. simply doing an URL to be displayed, get's
the maps.google.com message that the webbrowser is
not support (i have safari as default).
any ideas?

Unless you need "live" access with scrollable/zoomable/clickable functionality (not sure why), it would seem easier to just take a screen capture of the map once you've got it pointed at what you want.

Cmd Shift 4 will give you a crosshair icon you can drag to enclose the map.
Release and... Presto <shutter sound>. Screengrab taken.
You'll get a "Picture 1" PDF on your desktop (in Tiger).
[Prior OS or tweaked system might deliver older versions such as JPG/PICT/PNG.]
Repeat as necessary.
Drag PDF into Keynote.
Alakazaam-Badabing-Badaboom. Audience thinks you're a genius.

(Might want to make sure you tick the preference option to "embed movies and audio when exporting" to ensure your images are internal to the finished presentation if/before/once you move them from their 'linked' location.)

Thanks. i had thought of that, but thought there might be a nice way in which i can zoom during the presentation without going to an external app.
