Froma business standpoint, I'm impressed that they have not and are not having to discount these outgoing models in order to clear out inventory. The intels macs have been greatly anticipated and apparently are selling well. Kudos to Apple's management.

It will be interesting to see whether any overstocked resellers will be offering discounts on this model.

Glad i bought just one more battery before they closed it down....


I may well buy one of the new ones after my upcoming 6 months in Australia, but I did not really want to take a new machine off for that kind of expedition. By Fall they may even have put back some things that disappeared.
