What arrangement does everyone use for their mouse?

At home:
Microsoft IntelliMouse 2.0 gliding on a plastic clipboard; yep, best surface I have found for it.

At work:
Apple corded mouse (white one) straight on the desk

On the road (PB 15"):
MightyMouse on a plastic clipboard

With my iBook, a Logitech MX-510 at home, and the built in trackpad while away from home. Considering a small bluetooth mouse for the road.

Use a Kensignton PilotMouse Bluetooth Wireless. Has a really nice side grip surface on both sides. First one died, they shipped another, no questions asked. So good customer service too.

Editing system: MS Laser Mouse 6000 and round Dashboard mouse pad.
Powerbook: Logitech MX1000 and Wiley Coyote/Roadrunner mouse pad.

That MS mouse is really very good! I kind of wish Logitech would come out with a lighter, wired version of the MX1000.
