In an act eerily reminiscent of the infamous campaign that marked the start of Bush’s illegal and immoral war, two laser-guided bombs fell from the Iraqi sky yesterday, shattering the morning calm and killing innocent Iraqi civilians as they slept peacefully in their beds. By pure chance, one of them just happened to be Abu Musab Al Zarqawi, the former Jordanian journalist blamed for numerous “terrorist attacks” around Iraq. Zarqawi was using the home as a “safe house”, a place where he could relax away from the probing eyes and eavesdropping ears of an administration determined to infringe upon his constitutional Right to Privacy. After years on the run from the Great Satan, trying to spend a little quality time sharing a few laughs with the buddies, Big Al got 1000 lbs of TNT dropped right onto his jihadi high-tops.

It\'s hard to be surprised anymore by Bush\'s endless stream of atrocities. But we must ask ourselves, how far have we sank as a nation, how far have we been dragged down into the gutter by this deranged and illegal crusade, when we don\'t even recognize the concept of \"private sanctuary\" anymore? I suppose the Shrub will next drop a daisy-cutter on a home for battered muslim husbands hiding from their wifes. Or perhaps nuke a madrassa orphanage full of innocent jihadis.

In his maddening stupidity, Bush insists this will \"turn the tide\" in Iraq. If anything, Zarqawi\'s murder will only perpetuate the Giant Circle of Violence. I\'m not entirely sure what that is, but I know it\'s very, very bad. Very, very bad. And very, very round - and Bush is completely to blame for it. :grumble:

Old news - they've been doing it as a matter of course since day 1 - along with wedding parties and pregnant women being driven to hospital.

Most atrocities are covered now, rape, murder, torture, general mass slaughter. Bit light on the genocide if they want to be real contenders but there's still time.....

None of this is new, it is how it has always been - it is the reason for the 'terrorism' not the cause of it.

Because of my debilitating glaucoma condition (exacerbated by the lack of inhaleable medication while waiting in line at the grocery store) I am barely able to make out what you really mean by that. I just hope that the fascist forces of Der ChimpenReichFuhrer have not turned you to the dark side, comrade.

Giving the troops \"purple\" hearts is innately Racist. There must be a diverse rainbow of hearts awarded. Perhaps a \"golden heart\" for those who have stuffed Iraq\'s golden sand in Abu Musab Al Zarqawi butt.

What the hell does JFKerry have to do with this.
I am not a supporter of the war in the Mid-East, but I do support our troops. Do you? I do believe that John Kerry was awarded 3 Purple Hearts for being wounded in action.

Then it's called defense against the Islam (crusades), communism (1970s) or terrorism (2000s).

No, no. You got it all wrong. We are not sinking, we are digging for oil. There is a difference. Sinking implies Bush doesn't want to be where he is.

I find this logic perplexing. If you support the troops then wouldn't you want them healthy and back home with their young children and family?

Supporting or not supporting a war has nothing to do with supporting the troops or not.

Although maybe I'm wrong and maybe those pinko-commie-liberal bastahds (you know, anyone that opposes the war) want to abandon the troops there forever!
