Fundie Spyware

There was a thread a while back about the 'Christian' video game where you get to run around blowing away sinners but I can;t find it now.

Anyway, seems the game is a sort of trojan horse and riddled with spyware. (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/06/23/evangelical_spyware/) Fundie spyware.

The malware seems to be the brainchild of an Israeli firm - imagine my shock - and records players' behaviour, location, and other data to be uploaded to Left Behind's Bible-powered marketing machine. :wow:

Rumours that the database is updated according to the character you play have yet to be confirmed but early reports suggest that the data gathered by the spybot is routed to different departments depending one one's choice of character - preliminary reports suggest that ....oh never mind.....it's far too late and I haven't the will to continue.....:D :devil:

Yes - and it emits a special beam that causes the braincell of a sheep to vibrate at a secret frequency causing it to implode.

This has the advantage of not having to hide anything - the sheep will endlessly parrot on about blimps, Halliburton and anything else they are programmed to BUT - and see what they did here (it's the clever bit) - the sheep won't be able to actually think about any of it at all.

How can someone so smart, be so dumb? Or rather, how can someone that reads so much news, be so naive? Not related to this thread, just a general observation. This must be another sociology thesis. I just at this point can not think of another explanation for the outlandishness of moe/common man/southside.
