What do you guys and gals think? Will the number of terror alerts and foiled terror plots spike over the next few months leading to the November elections.

Let's no forget how they spiked during the run up to the 2004 presidential election. Eighteen months after the election, not so much.

Time for the GOP to remind America that it need to get back under that bed and cower like a good ol' cog. Oh, and don't forget to vote Republican if you want to feel safe.

Tom Ridge:

"More often than not we were the least inclined to raise it," Ridge told reporters. "Sometimes we disagreed with the intelligence assessment. Sometimes we thought even if the intelligence was good, you don't necessarily put the country on (alert). ... There were times when some people were really aggressive about raising it, and we said, 'For that?' "

I think they've been to that well too often.

Now it's more about : " We're tired of all this BS ".
