1/2 useful Mighty Mouse

My Mighty Mouse (with wire) has worked perfectly for a long time, until today. Now it will scroll down, but not up. I have restarted my Intel Core Duo iMac, but have no solution. Do I need a new mouse or some advice? Thanks for your help

Actually, here is the answer, given to me on Apple Support. I am grateful for the answer.


"I just had the same exact problem, I just got a lightly damp cloth (water) and just kept rolling and wiping and wiping and rolling. Occasionally turning it upside down and cleaning in this positon... it came back to life!!! give a try,"
