I dont want to spoil it, but did anyone else think that Miami vice was the worst cop movie ever? The story sucked, they did things that went totaly against the flow of what little story there was and the CG looked haphazardly tossed together, I have seen better CG in xbox 360 games.

Also, I went to an action movie, but in stead, what I got was a porn flick, 5 pretty graphic sex scenes...

These Holly-wierd-os are ruining classic television shows, it sucks.

Is there a way to get a refund on an absolutly shitty movie?

also: the movie show time was listed as 9:00, the movie didnt start untill 9:20...is false advertising still illegal?

Michael Mann created the original series as well as the movie. Had unprecedented creative liberty. If he ruined it, it was his to ruin.

After Heat and Collateral, there's no way I'm not seeing this movie.

i've heard mixed reviews. I'm not gerenally a big fan of cop movies unles they're like Tango and Cash, or, even better, Red Heat.

In other words, 100% ridiculous, with absolutely zero sentimental content, or for that matter any indication that the protagonists are humans with normal lives too.

That's true all over these days, unfortunately.

Go see Monster House, you won't be disappointed!! (even if you're not a kid)
PS - See it in 3D if you can, there is not a 3D theatre near us.

The best part of Miami Vice in my opinion is the total aesthetic, independant feel of the movie. Half of the movie looks like some one was chasing Ferrel and Foxx with a handheld, hence the shaking, raw feel to many of the scenes, and the complete gray scale of the movie itself. Long gone are the days of light pastels big hair. A lot of times, its not usually the story or plot of the movie, its how it makes you feel. Its very different from a lot of TV-Movie remakes i.e. "Charlies Angels," and "Dukes of Hazzard," where they made it too Hollywood-istic. Mami Vice was done very well.

I got caught in Date Movie and I was going to do that but it had an hour-and-ten-minute running time so when I was like "fuck this" it was over.

I just want to know one thing... Just how in the heck does Ray Charles aim his gun? Huh?

Just for the record, no one ever answered my question on how Ray Charles flew that jet in that other sucktastic movie, Stealth.

The Stealth dogfight scenes were great though, especially the one against the Su-37 Terminators.

Wasn't the Stealth flown by computer?
. . .
Now I have a very funny mental image.

It would be IMPOSSIBLE for this to be a "good" movie. I mean really. Like the TV show was good? Hollywood is bankrupt for ideas. Period.

Then why remake a 80s movie in the first place?

"Independent feel" isnt just a "handheld camera" anymore man. Thats totally banal. Reducing the idea of "Indy" to a freaking Sony Steadycam is blasphemy! :0)

The EDI robot-flown fighter (Extreme Deep Invader, I SHIT YOU NOT) was, the F-37 Talons were flown by Ray Charles, who is the first and only to kick the bucket (in classic black-person-in-movie fashion) and his terrible co-thespians, were not.

They weren't using daddys hi-8 man, this is friggen SONY PICTURES...they can have the best film or 4k 4:4:4 digital cinema cams on the set with one phone call, and oh yea, they could probably have the dudes who designed the fuckers give the crew a hands on how-to...
