iPhone accessories?

Now, heres the good question....what accessories could be built for it?
I'm pretty sure you couldnt cover the iphone with plastic and still be able to touch it.
Now Power Support sells crystal film sets for the nano and or ipod video. I cant think of any other way then going with that to protect the screen, but the question is would the touch still work?

Electrostatic sensors pick up touch though relatively thick materials.

Put a business card over your iPod scroll wheel or Mac trackpad and see that it still works. Only surfaces that might not adhere to the face of it would make you press harder for accuracy. Adhesive films should be fine.
