What are some software titles avaliable for mac os x for writing a scripts, just to make the formatting easier, you know? because scripts have a certain look to them with certain formattings or where lines go, directions, scene descriptions. <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" /> <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

<a href="http://www.finaldraft.com/" target="_blank">FinalDraft</a>'s the King. costs $199.95 or $149.95 for the AV version. is OS X native.

Final Draft always seemed to get good marks, but I don't know if it's been updated for OS X or not.

BTW, anyone who ever even thinks about writing a script needs to pick up a copy of J. Michael Straczynski's <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1582971587/" target="_blank">The Complete Book of Scriptwriting</a>.

Seriously, it is probably the best book you will ever buy. There is little that isn't covered.

Want to write a screenplay for the next Oscar winner? Buy this book.

Want to write a script for a TV show? Buy this book.

Want to write a radio drama? Buy this book.

A lot of people have found success by reading this. I highly reccomend it.

[EDIT: Defiant beat me to it]
