I am using MacOS X and need a scientific graphic plotting/drawing software, like sigmaplot. I've searched the Apple website and I couldn't find any software that has the rich functionality equal to sigmaplot, Do I have to buy a PC or VPC for drawing/plotting scientific graphics?
Oh......please.
Mathematica and MATLAB both very likely do what you are asking.

SPSS for X is out now. If you've got 600 bucks.

One word: IGOR.
Did all the graphics for Ph.D. with IGOR. Love it.

Or $99 for the upgrade. $199 for the grad student version (which is identical to the full version). :p It sucks to be a grad student and have to spend money on this stuff, but at least I can get it cheap.
