Hotels in Florida, Michigan and Minnesota are now offering “women only” floors. The floors (which command a higher fee than integrated floors) offer enhanced services and amenities such as spas, chocolates and in-room wet bars. In one hotel, women find a copy of the book “If Women Ruled the World”. Also offered are single sex lounges.

Call me crazy, but didn't we put an end to segregation a number of years ago? Wasn't separate but equal found to be unconstitutional?

I know that this problem used to exist at my health club and a lawsuit put an end to it. Do you support women only areas or segregation by sex?

You should sue and end this tyranny.

Sex segregation has done great things for the academic achievement (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13229488/) of both boys and girls. And CURVES has gotten a ton (oops) of women into the gym that otherwise would not have gone, helping their health and our combined medical costs.

It's what I call the "feminism hangover." In all of the public clamor for equality, equality, equality... many women have decided that the goals of 70s-era feminism were rather un-fulfilling when put into practice. Feminism had its benefits, but overall, it went a little overboard with people like Dworkin, Solanas, Steinem, Ireland, and the girls.

"The sadness of the women's movement is that they don't allow the necessity of love.
See, I don't personally trust any revolution where love is not allowed."

-Maya Angelou - "Listening to Maya Angelou," in California Living (14 May 1975.)

Overall, to be consistent, I must agree that private organizations have the right to exclude whoever they want from whatever they want. Like the Boy Scouts. Or Augusta. Or whoever. We have the right to freely associate with whoever we want to, short of judicially recognized gang activity. More and more bullshit in the name of the farcical "equality" myth.

Are you upset that you can't have a bubblebath while eating chocolate?

What was really annoying were the girls only dorms at university. It was tough to sneak into those at night. Probably for good reason.

Girls at my university wanted urinals in their restrooms. A man would have little reason to sneak into those dorms.

I am upset that I can't have bubblebath while eating chocolate. I'm also tired of being oogled by women while undertaking such activities. Sure it was a public fountain in which I was enjoying the bubblebath and chocolates, but I need special rights because those women stared at me.

Also the girls only dorms at the university weren't the biggest problem. The biggest problem was when they would walk to the other side of the campus and yell at you for still being the cause of the toilet seat being left up.
