im not sure, but is it optimizing our current core 2 duos? or is the chip only good for the new programs that run with it and leopard is the mac operating system that will take full advantage?

i thought i knew this but i'm totally lost now.

OS X has been multithreaded since the developer previews in the late 90's. It is starting to hit its stride though and the optimizations Apple is providing are going to really let the OS shine over the next couple years.
