itunes on windows help

i am using itunes(came with ipod) to try to pull up track and artist info from mix cd's that a friend has burned(on his mac....he is able to pull up the track title and artist name on his mac but i can't on my pc using itunes) on my pc (windows xp) and can't get ANY track info other than the number of the track and track length...is there a patch i can download to resolve this problem? Nope. There's no way to save text data onto standard Audio CD's, so there's no way you could retrieve it. You'll have to type in the artist and track titles by hand.

Actually I suspect you're just trying to find an automated way of re-titling ripped CD's so that you can "de-DRM" purchased music, am I right? Otherwise your friend would have the sense to send you the MP3 or AAC files instead.
