I've read of people saying that they can get the same or better, more stable services than a .Mac account and pay less. Who are these competitor's? I'd like to see what they have to offer.

Most importantly, I need to sync iCal and share doc's online between several Mac's.

Thx

There isn't a true competitor to .Mac.

You can mix and match different competitors to come up with a similar service, but certain functionality (e.g., address book synching) and application synching (e.g., Yojimbo) can't be offered by the competitors.
