We're approaching iPhone's first birthday here and AI still has one of the most clumsy forum sites to use on a mobile device.

When, if at all, will we see something a little more elegant from AI?

I'm not quite sure what you meant by that, as there are already a plethora of iPhone optimized skins for vBulletin. Do a quick Google search. I'm not asking for a miracle here.
