I bought an 8gb iPhone from someone a couple days ago. It had a broken glass.
Today, Apple replaced it for me under warranty!!!!!
I didn't have service on it before, nor do I now. I was going to use it as an iPod for a while.
This new one needs to be set up somehow though. It shows on the screen, a cable plugging into iTunes.
I'm not ready to sign up for ATT service for a little while yet, but I'd like to use the iPod features.
How do I get it going? By the way, there is a sim card in it from the previous user, but it's not an active account.
