hello when i try to partition the hardrive using bootcamp it says that it cannot partition,any ideas how i can use windows xp as well as using the mac please?
i have got the minimac 80 gb 10.5.3 with leapard

i`ve not tried that,i did try parrallel but when playing games the mouse is slow,i might reformat the drive and reinstall the operating system and try again.

make sure you install the parallels tools if you didn't already. I don't think gaming is optimized for parallels however.

reformat will probably work for bootcamp.

You often need to defragment your drive before you can partition it for Bootcamp. This can be done two ways:

iDefrag software:

or

if you have an external drive, use either Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper to clone your system to it. Verify it boots ok by booting holding alt and choosing the external. Do a simple format of your internal and then boot up from the external and clone back. Then do the partitioning.

You should do a system clone/backup before any of these things.
