Jailbreaking 3G S / iPhone OS 3.x

Has anyone done it? I found out recently that someone finally made a good Dvorak hack for the iPhone 2.0, but it requires jailbreaking. I plan to buy a 3G S as soon as I hear some positive jailbreaking stories.
