Just placed an order for my new MBP

So I got the base model 15" MBP and I wondering if I should get This hard drive. It seems like a steal.

I don't NEED a bigger faster hard drive, but it would be a huge plus.

Also any other things I should get for it? Such as cases, keyboard covers. This is my first laptop so I don't know what to expect.

How do you plan on fitting a desktop hard drive inside a laptop?

Yes, a backup device is worth all that and more. Plus, the TC has added functionality that adds value

If you won't use more than the 250GB, I wouldn't bother upgrading it. If you want a decent internal upgrade, get the 7200 rpm 500GB Seagate:

If you want an external for backups etc, just get a bus-powered USB drive like this one:

If you're not a fan of the reflections in the display, consider an anti-glare shield, like this one:

It's better to get the laptop and see if it bothers you before buying though.

i dis agree he saves very little by not getting what i got 3,02GHZ 500g 7200 rpm direct from apple .

And if something happens its their dime not yours

I feel after weeks of debate that itsa best ti buy the highest grade you can afford . So your laptop goes obsolete not as fast

    good luck either way .
