iPhone 2010- what hardware changes do you want to see?

I mean, come on- I'm bored now that snow leopard is out!

Hardware changes I want to see on the next iphone:

1. Higher resolution screen- 480 by 800 or something

2. Front facing camera for video chat

3. Multi-core processor for an overall faster ui

4. Ability to output HD video from a dock

5. Obviously more storage, memory, processor speed, and a better quality camera

Anyone have any other ideas?

    Hello everybody!

I want so many changes in new iPhone.

Like Thinner (Or Appears and feels thinner)

    Better Camera (Better Lens Please!)

    Video (Technically Software)

    Higher Resolution Screen

Dual Core CPU and Higher Clock Speed (Cash in on the Gaming Possibilities)

Longer Battery Life (Work the UMBP 17" Technology in there?)

    Wireless Sync

    Wireless Charge

    32Gb+

Hope I will see this changes in new iPhone very soon!

Better Camera (Better Lens Please!) 5 megapixel for 2010.

    Video (Technically Software) No.

    Higher Resolution Screen Maybe.

Dual Core CPU and Higher Clock Speed (Cash in on the Gaming Possibilities) Former: No. Latter: Yes

Longer Battery Life (Work the UMBP 17" Technology in there?) Yes. I think we'll see that in 2010.

    Wireless Sync No.

Wireless Charge No. Apple is not emulating Palm.

32Gb+ 32GB/64GB next year. I'll bet on that.

Hope I will see this changes in new iPhone very soon!

    Next year. 2010.

    Hardware:

Message/VM indicator light. I want to see if I have messages from 10' feet away.

    Faster CPU/dual cores

    802.11n

    Better battery life

    Software:

Exchange 2007 calendering/meeting support that actually works. Thank you, Steve. Need specifics? OK...

    Can't snooze an appointment reminder.

Appointment reminders go away too fast when screen is locked.

When viewing a meeting request and there are conflicts, display the conflicting appointment!

When clicking on a person's name in a meeting request there should be an option to look them up in the Exchange Directory so you can get their Office Location and Phone Number

When looking at the agenda view, conflicts should be highlighted in Red

The ability to "reply to all" to a appointment, the main scenario is when you are running late to a meeting and you want to let everyone know.

The only way to delete an event is to “Decline” it. WTF

No categories or colors come down from Outlook/Exchange (Microsoft EAS Limitation, not Apple)

Appointments which have conflicts will show up as "tentative".

Major bug where most appointments show up as "tentative"

    Misc:

Better iPhone Deployment tools for activating and imaging iPhones and related profiles

Alternative ways to install business apps without iTunes.

Rewrite iTunes. It has scaled beyond its original concepts. Time to start over. iTunes X?

    Tethering with AT&T in USA!

Cheaper plans and rates via AT&T

I'm actually very content with the current iPhone. I have felt each year that it has been lacking. Originally it was too slow for my tastes and lacked video and couldn't hold all my music, then the 3G came out and I wanted video recording and this still couldn't hold all my music, and now the 3GS makes me quite happy to be honest.

The only upgrades I'm looking forward to are the basics really:

    1. More storage capacity.

    2. Better battery

    3. Faster Overall

    And the Christmas list contains:

    1. Front facing camera for video chat

    2. MSG light indicator, nothing too goofy, perhaps a white glow like my MBP.

    3. Some kind of optional cap to cover the headphone port and dock connector. It seems like all of the lint I've accumulated over that past several years of my life just decides to cram itself in there.

I wouldn't mind a couple of buttons for brightness, just like the volume works now.

iPhone will never be released in Christmas.

I was being sarcastic. Christmas list, I should have said wish list. Bad choice of words. I know they would never release a revamped iPhone before next June.

Probably what things will be added (hardware):

    -More Storage

    -Better Battery

-Maybe a different casing (since the current is getting old)

    -Possibly a better camera

    -Possibly OLED or LED

    -Better graphics

    Wish List:

    -Front facing camera

    -additional buttons to control brightness

-Indicator lights (maybe like the macbook/macbook pro)

    -Camera flash

-Back button for previous apps (ex. im in notes and get a text, go to text and reply then hit back to access notes, without having to hit home then find notes again and access it)

What I want that will probably not happen or will take a few years:

-The entire front is the screen, which would mean relocating the home button, speaker and sensors. Maybe HD (720p)

    Software:

-new way to organize/personalize the home screen

    -multi-tasking capabilities

-more than 4 apps in the dock

    -search the calendar

-simplified iWork (type pages, make simple of basic presentations etc.) and iLife (Rotate Pictures, brightness, contrast, saturation etc.) for on-the-go situations when you can't access your Mac.

-Software similar to shazam or midomi in iTunes for music recognition.

-Edit music in iPod (swipe to delete, edit former on-the-go playlists). Equalizer in iPod instead of in settings so you dont have to leave iPod to change it then have to return to iPod

I don't see it coming because AT&T is still working on getting their 3G up to par with all the current iPhones owners bitching about its speed. Until they can get 4G nationwide, I just don't see it coming. But perhaps it might. Thats one thing I would love to see though. I like to travel and it would be nice to stay in touch like that without having to bring my MacBook Pro. Thats the only reason I bring it with me now. Other than that, the iPhone does all my emails and everything else I need to do when I'm away from home.
