Hi everybody.

My aluminium keyboard on Mac Pro died recently so I took my old Power Mac G3 keyboard with USB 1.1 and connected it to USB 2.0 port on Mac Pro.

All functions worked ok, except when I type a,s,d,f,g,h,j,k,l I get these signs a1,s2,d3,f4,g5,h6,j7,k8,l9.

Is my old keyboard broken or it can be fixed?

My OS is Leopard 10.5.7

Yeah, that keyboard is likely toast. It might not be a bad idea to open up Keyboard Viewer and see what's being typed when you hit a button.

To open the KV, to go System Preferences, to International, and activate the keyboard viewer checkbox, which can then be found in the menu near the clock that looks like a flag.
