I can't get BBC 4 to work with Snow Leopard---Realplayer is 32 bit and I think it's not functioning

64-bit OSs run 32-bit apps without a problem, sammick. It worked under Leopard, didn't it? Leopard is also 64-bit (as was/is Tiger, BTW). So the fact that SL is 64-bit is not the reason your RealPlayer doesn't work under SL. It's some other bug, or "incompatibility", in SL that causes that. Not surprising if you see how many other apps and functionalities don't work under SL.
Got the OSX.6.1 update yet?
If that still doesn't make RealPlayer work I would restore Leopard (from Time Machine) until OSX.6.2 is released.
