10000 rpm hard drive in imac?

i'm thinking of putting a 10000 rpm drive in a 24 inch 2.33 ghz imac. i was wondering if anyone has experience doing this and what kind of speed improvement i would get. i have 4 gigs ram and snow leopard. i used to boot a mini off an external 7200 drive and it was much faster than with the 5400 drive.

    never done it but I'd be concerned about heat

    well i put in 10k drive and it works great. speed improved just a little but temp and quietness not an issue. restored system off time machine, no problems.
