Problem with installing Safari 4

Hi,

I'm a first time user of this forum. I have an old Power Mac G4 OS 10.4.11. When Safari 4 came out a couple of months ago, I tried upgrading from version 3.1.1. Everything seemed okay except when I tried opening up Safari 4 - it crashed. The new application also replaced Safari 3.1.1. I deleted the new Safari 4 and tried downloading Safari 4 again. - Same problem. My solution was to find Safari 3.1.1 somewhere and install it as my web browser. Somehow my computer thinks I still have version 4 but I do not in have it in my applications folder. I could live with using the older Safari 3.1.1 but after I updated iTunes this past week, I can no longer go to Apple Music Store - since you need Safari 4 to open up the window. I have more than $50.00 left in my iTunes Account and I'm not able to go online and use it.

Can anyone help?
