Menu Clock CPU usage
At 1:00am, my MacBook (running 10.6.0) got ridiculously warm, so I launched Activity Monitor. Sure enough, SystemUIServer was using a great deal of processing power. The only thing that seems to affect it is whether or not I have the clock in the menu bar displayed. Removing none of other menu icons changes it and none of the options to configure the menu clock do either.
Because of the DST change today, this seems a particularly interesting coincidence, so I was wondering if anyone else has seen this.
Edit: I noticed System Preferences goes for the cycles when on the Date & Time panel.
